The Treasury Analyst is responsible for protecting ExtensisHR’s assets by mitigating financial risk and ensuring efficient cash movement. This role serves as a key liaison between Treasury, Finance, Payroll, and Implementation, ensuring that client funding processes run smoothly and that credit exposure is properly monitored.
This role is fully remote, with the ability to travel to our New Jersey office if needed. We are seeking an individual who is located on the west coast and/or can work PST hours.
Cash Management & Payments
• Monitor daily client payroll funding activity
• Process wire transfers and ACH payments
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Ensure all client payroll wire funding is received daily before end‑of‑day deadlines
• Post payroll cash receipts daily
• Submit payroll banking files and ensure timely processing before end‑of‑day deadlines
• Process ACH and reverse‑wire dollar tests
Credit & Risk Management
• Monitor and maintain accurate client portfolios in Experian to prevent bad‑debt losses
• Track and document all credit defaults, issues, and risk events
• Collect past‑due funds from clients
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and procedures
• Escalate potential risks to the Treasury Supervisor
Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Track key cash‑ and credit‑related KPIs
• Assist with treasury‑ and credit‑related audit support
• Support efforts to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency
Cross‑Functional Support
• Collaborate with banking partners on internal support requests from Payroll and Implementation
• Work closely with Payroll and Implementation teams on daily payroll items such as voucher reversals, reverse‑wire setups, and related issues
Job Skills & Qualifications
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Finance, treasury, banking, or accounting experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills for financial and accounting analysis required
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical and analytical abilities
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong time‑management and project‑management skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams without formal authority
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
