We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer, ideally who has led small teams, who can roll up the sleeves, learn the current implementation of our Salesforce instance quickly and start creating and delivering effective, scalable Salesforce solutions for our business teams.
In this fully remote role, as a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that drive organizational success. This role requires strong software development background, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will lead the CRM Team and provide Salesforce subject matter expertise to the team.
Given the production support responsibilities of this role, you must be willing to pivot across tasks quickly as needs arise on a daily basis, occasionally work during non-business hours or over the weekend (not regularly) and be available on call to provide technical support / leadership when critical business impacting Salesforce issues arise
Salesforce Development
o Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, while making effective use of Salesforce platform’s declarative capabilities judiciously.
o Implement complex business logic and workflows to automate processes and enhance user experience using code based as well as non-code based (declarative) approaches as necessitated by the business requirements.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions as needed.
Integration and Data Management
o Integrate the ExtensisHR Salesforce platform with external systems and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.
o Design and implement data migration strategies to ensure accurate and seamless transfer of data between systems.
Solution Design and Architecture
o Architect scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that adhere to best practices and design patterns.
o Perform peer reviews and provide guidance to junior developers / admins to ensure high quality and maintainability of the Salesforce solutions.
Technical Leadership
o Serve as a Salesforce technical expert and subject matter expert on Salesforce development best practices.
o Lead the team and oversee day-to-day tasks of the team members and ensure the team’s DevOps processes are followed on an ongoing basis with the end goal of delivering high quality and timely solutions to the business teams / stakeholders.
o Mentor and coach junior Salesforce developers and administrators, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth within the team.
Collaboration and Communication
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
o Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
Continuous Improvement
o Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and updates, and evaluate their impact on existing solutions.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Salesforce platform.
Position Salary:
120k-140k
