Who You Are:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented critical thinker to join our Pricing Team as a Pricing Analyst.  The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, including RFIs, competitive intelligence, KPIs and ensuring the Clients are charged appropriately.  They will monitor prospective client pricing, updates/audits, and other pricing related tasks.  The position will report to the VP of Pricing and Profitability. Responsibilities may expand to other areas depending on department needs. 

What You'll Do:

  • Be a lead role, in coordination with the Sales Department, in prospective client pricing. 
  • Create a deal desk function to ensure a healthy balance between Win rates and margins using holistic pricing approach 
  • Maintain the Pricing Rate Cards and methodology documents for all Products & Services 
  • Oversee new client rates, existing client rate updates, and one-time or on-going concessions 
  • Perform accurate and timely maintenance of our client billing system. 
  • Maintain global bill rules/events and create new ones as required. 
  • Work closely with the Billing department to ensure proper mapping of bill codes/events to the General Ledger. 
  • Respond to client pricing/concession inquiries and work with Payroll, Client Success, and other departments to resolve any discrepancies identified. 
  • Create repeatable, scalable, and impactful analysis (with a focus on pricing) 
  • Utilize internal reporting tools to monitor program KPIs, ensuring programs are performing optimally with current pricing strategies. 
  • Gathering competitive intelligence and update competitive landscape 
  • Assist in the periodic review of client pricing. 
  • Participate in the Company’s annual budget process by providing key data that will serve as the basis for future projections. 
  • Document current processes and procedures; seek value added efficiency improvements. 
  • Respond to ad hoc Pricing related requests as required. 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field. 
  • Ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders 
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment 
  • Logical and highly organized; very process oriented 
  • Demonstrates strategic, quantitative, and analytical driven approach to tasks 
  • Ability to create repeatable and scalable analyses 
  • Power user of Excel 
  • Power user of PowerPoint, with the ability to create data driven decks/presentations 
  • Working experience with SQL, ability to query data and write basic code 
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate results and recommendations using data visualization tools 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize among multiple time-sensitive demands. 
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks and ability to accept direction on given assignments. 
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail. 
  • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Team player, results-focused, strong work ethic. 
  • Ability to be agile and flexible with assignments. 
  • Good communicator (writing and verbally) in formal and informal business settings.
