Who You Are:

As a member of the ExtensisHR internal Benefits team, you will be responsible for providing benefits administration and analytical support for Healthcare plans.  Participates in reviewing and analyzing system-related issues and responding to escalations related to all benefits programs. Partners with vendors on system set-up rules and transmission processes.  Partners with vendors and internal departments to develop content, communications, and training. Stays abreast of legislation and other influences that affect benefits. The core responsibilities include, maintaining employee eligibility, performing quality assurance tasks, reconciling vendor data, ad-hoc reporting, overseeing vendor invoice processing, resolving benefit plan issues escalated by employees, assisting internal team members and other departments with employee inquiries, and engaging in other special projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Administrative support for various employee benefit programs (Enrollments, terminations, changes, disability enrollment and claims, life insurance enrollment and claims, monthly Transit program, and others)
  • Client Level benefit Set Up
  • WSE Level Benefit Set Up/ Posting of Electronic Enrollments
  • Manual Enrollment / change of WSE’s
  • QA Vendor file, investigate billing discrepancies and carrier file discrepancies
  • Prepare and compile employee and client benefit reports from HRIS system
  • Provides superior customer service to our internal employees through the timely and accurate coordination of routine and complex issues pertaining to company benefit programs
  • Research insurance coverage questions and collaborates with vendors and Payroll/Operations/Finance to resolve Benefits administrative issues
  • Track activity in case management database
  • Make recommendations for process improvements and update Standard Operating Procedures
  • Manage Client Paid Cobra Billing and enrollment
  • Liaison to Cobra Vendor – investigate and resolve issues
  • Support Open Enrollment

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in the field of retirement plan administration preferred
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and knows how to build relationships
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to keep up in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Holds self and others accountable
  • Works independently and as part of a team
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely required, as well as a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
